James Hanson joins Times Radio to cover shows across the summer
Former BBC Radio Bristol presenter James Hanson has joined Times Radio to host various shows.
He made his debut this morning covering for Rosie Wright on the Times Radio Early Breakfast Show.
After almost 10 years at the BBC and presenting BBC Radio Bristol’s Breakfast Show since 2021, James announced his decision to leave the station in a tweet in April.
He said: “It’s something I’ve been considering for a while, but after 9 years at the BBC, and two and a half years doing the Breakfast Show – the time is right to make a change in my life. So I’m going freelance and moving to London.”
His last show on BBC Radio Bristol was on Friday 30th June.
Yesterday, James tweeted: “Delighted to be making my national radio presenting debut tomorrow on @TimesRadio, sitting in for the brilliant @rosiewright99 on Early Breakfast.”
He added that he’ll be on Times Radio for several weeks in August and September.
