Win for Kirkcaldy community station at Fife Business Awards

K107FM has won the Marketing and Innovation category at the annual Fife Business Awards.

The ceremony was held by the Fife Chamber of Commerce at the Old Course Hotel Golf Resort and Spa in St Andrews.

This was the station’s 4th Fife Business Awards nomination over past three years, but its first ever win.

K107FM’s Alex Airnes said: “This award is testament to the proactive hard work behind the scenes to support our volunteers and provide a local radio service to the area.

“We’ve been a long-term option for cost effective on-air radio advertising for local SMEs, but over the past year or so have been able to increase our working relationships with key local and national stakeholders, offering a blend of on-air, social media and broadcast coverage from live events and product launches.”
