Diamond Groove joins Muxco DAB in North Yorkshire and Somerset

Smooth jazz and soul station Diamond Groove will launch on DAB in North Yorkshire and Somerset from Tuesday 1 July.
The station, which has spent the past 15 months broadcasting on small-scale DAB, will join the Muxco-operated multiplexes on a short-term basis under temporary carriage arrangements.
Diamond Groove features a mix of smooth jazz, soul grooves and Motown, with a line-up that includes several well-known names.
Steve Quirk, previously of Jazz FM, presents at the weekend. Dave Brown, known for his time at Smooth Radio, is on Sunday afternoons.
Former Gemini FM breakfast presenter Ben Moseby, who also appears on TV shopping channels, has joined, as has Dean Martin who takes over weekday lunchtimes.
They join existing presenters Catie Maxx, Tony Dibbin and Duncan Barkes.
The move onto larger DAB multiplexes is intended to give more listeners a chance to hear the station and its range of specialist shows.
