GB News adds late-night shows to expand live prime-time output

GB News is adding a new late-night hour of live programming every day from tonight, extending its weekday and weekend schedules with two new shows.

Patrick Christys Tonight: Late Edition will air Monday to Friday from 11pm to midnight, offering a mix of next-day newspaper previews, in-depth news analysis and guest discussion.

On weekends, the slot will be taken over by Ben Leo Tonight: Late Edition, continuing the same live format on Saturdays and Sundays.

The move sees GB News expanding its daily live news offering to midnight, seven days a week.

Head of Programming Ben Briscoe said: “These new shows will give us greater flexibility and allow us to respond more quickly to breaking stories both at home and abroad.”

The Headliners team will feature regularly in the new late editions while still contributing to other GB News output, including its GB News Originals strand.

Briscoe added: “In an era of fast-paced, 24/7 news, our viewers expect timely updates and sharp and expert analysis from morning until midnight.”

Both Late Edition programmes launch tonight, Monday 9 June, on GB News.
