Jo Coburn and Stephen Sackur to join Times Radio lunchtime show

Jo Coburn and Stephen Sackur are joining the presenter line-up for The Times at One on Times Radio.
They will become part of the regular rotation on the Monday to Thursday programme, alongside existing presenters Andrew Neil, Trevor Phillips and Daniel Finkelstein.
The show airs from 1pm to 2pm and features a mix of in-depth interviews, commentary and expert analysis, with each presenter hosting for a week at a time.
Coburn, who previously hosted *Politics Live* on the BBC, will begin her Times Radio role the week starting Monday 16 June. Sackur, formerly of BBC’s HARDtalk, will follow on Monday 23 June. Both are confirmed to present further editions across July and August.
Jo Coburn said: “I’m excited to be joining Times Radio off the back of record audience figures. The station’s commitment to high quality speech really appeals to me and I can’t wait to get started.”
Stephen Sackur added: “Times Radio is in great form and it feels like a brilliant time to be joining the team. Its coverage of national and international news is fresh, unstuffy and authoritative.”
Tim Levell, programme director at Times Radio, said the two journalists will bring “experience and insight” to a show that aims to provide “intelligent, agenda-setting news and analysis.”
The Times at One is known for its longer-form interviews and opening monologues, where each presenter shares a personal take on the day’s headlines.
