Leigh and Claire move to 102.1 Swansea Bay Radio breakfast

Leigh and Claire are taking on the breakfast show at 102.1 Swansea Bay Radio, starting Monday 9 June.
The familiar voices, known across Swansea and South West Wales since 2017, are joining the station as part of a wider schedule refresh focused on local talent.
The changes include Siany hosting weekday drivetime, returning to a slot she previously held at The Wave, and Kev Johns adding a Saturday morning programme alongside his Sunday show. Phil Hoyles also joins the weekday daytime line-up.
The station says this investment in new local programming follows the end of local shows on 96.4FM.
Leigh Jones said: “I’m so excited to have a new home for our Breakfast Show. I look forward to bringing a fresh new sound to Swansea Bay Radio and a familiar sound to our already strong breakfast show family.”
Claire Scott added: “We’ve made the switch and would love our listeners to join us for breakfast every weekday on Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot and South Carmarthenshire’s local station.”
Siany said: “Entertaining my home city at drive time and helping my community? That’s always been the dream.”
Kev Johns said he was happy to be back on air with familiar names: “I’m thrilled to be part of the lineup of the new 102.1 Swansea Bay Radio. We all love our city and can’t wait to turn up the local.”
Commercial Director Elen Oliver commented: “Now that we are the only remaining local commercial radio station, we know there’s a real opportunity in Swansea. Leigh, Claire and Siany will be brilliant additions and will help us deliver our business growth ambitions in South West Wales.”
