Fred Dinenage gets Christmas Day show on Nation Radio

Fred Dinenage will be back on South Coast radio on Christmas Day with a special programme on Nation Radio South.

The broadcast runs from 10am to 1pm and follows the station’s long-running Christmas Day Breakfast Show, which airs from 6am to 10am and is presented by Steve Power and Selina Ross.

The appearance marks a return to regional radio for Fred, whose broadcasting career has spanned six decades across television and radio. Listeners can expect a mix of Christmas music and messages as he takes over the mid-morning slot on one of the biggest listening days of the year.

Speaking ahead of the broadcast, Fred said: “I can’t wait to share some great Christmas songs and say a few hellos to friends and families across the South. Christmas Day is a time for family and friendship, and I know that Nation Radio is already a friend and companion to listeners across the South.”

Steve Power also welcomed the guest appearance, saying: “Having Fred on air is a real Christmas treat for listeners across the South. I can’t wait to hear what Fred has in store for us.”

Fred’s career includes presenting roles across news, sport, entertainment and major events, alongside continued television work. His Christmas Day programme adds a familiar voice to Nation Radio South’s festive schedule and continues the station’s tradition of live broadcasting throughout the holiday.
