Audio and Radio Industry Awards open for entries

Entries have opened for the Audio and Radio Industry Awards this year, marking the start of the UK radio and audio sector’s annual awards cycle.
The ARIAS return with submissions now being accepted from UK-based audio creators, recognising excellence across radio, podcasts and wider audio production, with winners to be revealed at a ceremony later this year.
The awards celebrate standout content and the people behind it, with entries assessed by more than 200 senior figures from across the audio and radio industry. Judging focuses on creativity, impact, production standards and storytelling, with the aim of reflecting the breadth of work being produced across the UK.
Entries opened on 7 January, with an initial entry fee of £45 plus VAT. Early bird pricing runs until 16 January, after which the standard entry fee of £65 plus VAT applies. The final deadline for submissions is 11 February. The ceremony is planned for May, with further details to be announced.
The ARIAS are open to UK-based audio creators who are members of The Radio Academy. Eligible entrants include radio teams, podcasters, audiobook producers, sound designers and news journalists, reflecting the increasingly broad definition of audio production.
Independent producers are again able to apply for support through the Podcasting, Seriously Awards Fund, which helps reimburse entry fees for underrepresented creators submitting podcast work.
Organisers say the awards aim to showcase the diversity of talent shaping the industry and encourage creators to put forward their strongest work. Entrants are being invited to “share your best work with our judges” for the chance to be recognised with what is widely regarded as the industry’s most respected accolade.
