CEO Philippe Generali to retire from RCS Worldwide

Philippe Generali is to retire as President and CEO of broadcast software provider RCS Worldwide, marking a major leadership transition at the company.
He will step down from his executive role on February 28 and then work closely with Katz Media CEO Mark Gray as a senior consultant for up to 12 months to support a smooth handover.
Generali’s departure concludes nearly three decades at the organisation, during which he helped shape its global influence in broadcast scheduling, automation and analytics.
He joined RCS in 1996 as a Product Manager, became President in 2000 and later assumed the role of President and CEO of RCS Worldwide.
Under his guidance, RCS extended its product portfolio and global reach. Generali led the creation of Media Monitors, brought television automation specialist Florical Systems into the group in 2007 and added audience analytics provider Mediabase in 2010.
Mark Gray, who has had operational oversight of RCS in recent years, said that Philippe’s leadership had been “extraordinary” and highlighted the strong foundation and leadership team he leaves behind.
In his own statement, Generali reflected on his time at the company and expressed enthusiasm for exploring new ideas and experiences in the next phase of his life.
The transition begins as RCS initiates its search for a new chief executive and continues to serve broadcasters with software and data solutions worldwide.
