Keith Williams to retire from RCS in Asia after 25 years

Keith Williams is to retire from RCS after 25 years, bringing to a close more than five decades in broadcasting.
RCS says Keith will step down from his role as Senior Vice President Asia Pacific on 31 March 2026, ending a long career that spanned on air radio, senior management and international technology leadership.
Keith began his career in radio in Australia and New Zealand, holding programming and presenting roles at major stations. He later became closely associated with Sydney’s 2Day FM, where his leadership helped deliver sustained number one ratings, building a reputation as one of the region’s most recognisable broadcast voices.
He joined RCS in 2001 as General Manager of RCS Australia, before progressing through a series of senior roles including Managing Director, Vice President Asia Pacific and Senior Vice President. Over that time, he played a central role in expanding the company’s footprint across the Asia Pacific region.
During his tenure, Keith was involved in introducing technologies that reshaped radio workflows, including Musicpoint, described as the first internet based music delivery service for radio, and the launch of AirCheck in Australia, now known as RCS Media Monitors.
Reflecting on his decision, Keith said: “As broadcasters transition into audio companies, RCS is evolving into a cloud first organisation. While I would welcome the opportunity in this era, I also look forward to retirement and spending more time with my family.”
Philippe Generali said Keith’s passion for radio and technology helped position RCS strongly across the region and that his impact would be felt long after his departure.
