Maldives giveaway returns to Lyca Radio network

Lyca Radio Network is bringing back one of its largest listener competitions, offering holidays to the Maldives across its stations once again this year.
The giveaway is being run in partnership with Southall Travel and Adaaran Resorts, with three winning pairs each receiving a five-night stay at an Adaaran island resort, plus flights arranged by Southall Travel.
The promotion is now live across the Lyca Radio Network, giving listeners the chance to win a break at one of three Maldives resorts, subject to availability.
One prize includes a beach villa stay at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi, with premium all inclusive benefits and a speedboat transfer. A second winning pair will stay at Adaaran Select Meedhupparu, also in a beach villa with premium all inclusive benefits, including a seaplane transfer. The third prize is a stay at Adaaran Club Rannalhi, offering an ocean view room with all inclusive benefits and a speedboat transfer.
Jaymin Borkhatria, Chief Commercial Officer at Southall Travel, said the partnership was a chance to showcase one of the company’s most popular destinations. He said the Maldives remained a firm favourite with travellers and added the company was pleased to continue working with Adaaran Resorts to deliver the experience.
Suresh Dissanayake, Assistant Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Adaaran Resorts and Heritance Aarah, said the giveaway builds on the response received last year. He said the initiative gives winners the opportunity to experience the Maldives and its hospitality first-hand.
Lyca Radio Network Chief Executive Raj Baddhan said the competition reflects the network’s focus on delivering large-scale listener campaigns. He said the collaboration allows the stations to offer a high-profile prize while starting the year with a network-wide promotion.
