Freedom Media Group adds strategy role

Freedom Media Group has appointed Dominic Rebello as Head of Strategy as it looks to build closer links between client aims and media activity.

The Manchester agency says the appointment is its most significant investment in its future so far, with Dominic joining after more than 15 years in senior strategy roles at network agencies.

He joins from MediaCom, where he established and led the strategy function, helping make it a central part of the agency’s client work and new business activity.

At Freedom Media Group, Dominic will work across client growth planning, internal strategy processes, new business development and the agency’s external profile through trade press and thought leadership.

The agency says his work will include closer data led planning with clients including LMA, Liverpool City Council, The NHS, Lexus, Acdoco and HPAC.

Dominic said: “After 15 years in a network environment I wanted to work somewhere the strategic thinking could have a more direct impact on clients’ businesses, on the agency’s direction, on the work itself.”

The agency says the appointment is designed to support stronger client partnerships and a tighter connection between business objectives and media planning.
