LBC gives MPs a week behind James O’Brien’s mic

Five politicians will cover James O’Brien’s LBC programme next week whilst he’s off.

Angela Rayner, Wes Streeting, Jess Phillips, Robert Jenrick and Karl Turner will each present the 10am to 1pm programme while James is on holiday.

Former Deputy Prime Minister and Ashton-under-Lyne MP Angela will host on Monday, followed by former Health and Social Care Secretary Wes on Tuesday.

Birmingham Yardley MP Jess will take calls from listeners on Wednesday. Reform UK Treasury Spokesperson Robert will present Thursday’s programme, before Independent MP Karl hosts the final show of the week.

LBC’s Senior Managing Editor Tom Cheal said: “At a momentous time for our politics, LBC is once again leading the national debate by giving our listeners a direct line to the UK’s biggest political voices.”

The programmes will be broadcast live on LBC and made available live and on demand through the LBC app and YouTube.
