PulseMix Radio partners with Anxious Minds charity

PulseMix Radio is expanding its community work through a partnership with mental health charity Anxious Minds.

The collaboration will see the organisations work together to promote mental health support across the North East while developing new opportunities for community broadcasting.

Anxious Minds has donated office furniture and computer equipment to help PulseMix create a new community studio for local broadcasting, projects and outreach activities.

As part of the agreement, PulseMix will provide presenters for Anxious Minds events, promote the charity’s services across its radio, website and social media channels, and launch The Anxious Minds Radio Show.

The programme will explore mental health topics, share lived experiences and direct listeners to sources of support.

Dave, founder and director of PulseMix Radio CIC, said: “I know first-hand the power that talking and seeking help can have.

“Partnering with Anxious Minds means we can use our platform to support people when they need it most.”

Eddie, chief officer of Anxious Minds, said: “Working with PulseMix Radio will give local people a voice across the North East. We look forward to working with them on this great project and strengthening the support available to our communities.”
