Happy Radio opens studios at Manchester Hall

Happy Radio UK has officially opened its new studios at Manchester Hall in Manchester city centre.

The launch event was attended by Danny O’Donoghue, frontman of The Script, who gave an exclusive interview with Mid Morning presenter Darren Proctor in the new studios.

Co-founders Max Eden and Darren Proctor described the opening as a major moment for the station, highlighting the importance of having a permanent base in such a central and well-known venue.

Manchester Hall is recognised as a key event destination in the city, hosting a range of events throughout the year.

Laura Mackie, Sales Director at Manchester Hall, said the station’s strong community connection made it a good fit for the venue.

Happy Radio’s presenter line-up includes well-known names such as Spence Macdonald, Steve Penk, Lauren Simon, Rachael Burke-Davies, Wingman, Fiona Sadler, Ian Roberts, Chelsea Norris and Paul Crone, delivering local programming across Manchester, Cheshire and the wider North West.
