BBC Radio presenter Helen Legh has died
BBC Three Counties Radio presenter Helen Legh has died.
Helen is well known in the Milton Keynes area – having presented breakfast on Horizon and BBC Three Counties Radio, and in the last few years, a weekly show on MKFM.
She also worked for Q103, ASDA FM, Virgin Radio, The Wireless and did breakfast on Mercia FM for three years from 1999 to 2002.
Helen was given just months to live following the discovery of a brain tumour in 2014 and had recently been undergoing some experimental brain surgery.

Helen leaves behind her husband Paul and daughter Matilda.
BBC Three Counties Radio informed listeners in their 8am news bulletin this morning, Wednesday 19th June. They also posted on social media, saying: “It is with great sadness we inform you that Helen Legh passed away at Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes yesterday afternoon. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time. She was truly loved by everyone she worked with at BBC Three Counties Radio.”
