Dean Saunders, Captain of Alan Brazil’s talkSPORT Breakfast Team comments: “I’ve played 75 times for my country and lifted trophies in England and abroad, but I can’t wait to dust off my boots and get back on the pitch in what will be an absolute classic versus the talKSPORT All Stars.

“I’m proud to be wearing the captain’s armband for the first time, and I can tell you that after speaking to the boss, we will be playing Brazil-ball! With over 230 international caps between us, we are loading up with strikers and going to outscore the All Stars!”

Adrian Durham, Manager of talkSPORT All Stars says: “This game will go down as a major moment in the rich history of talkSPORT and I’m proud to be in charge of the talkSPORT All Stars.

“Alan Brazil and I have both been at talkSPORT from the very start, so there’s no doubt this game will be competitive. He will have his Breakfast Team fired up for sure, but the All Stars quality will shine through. I can’t wait to get on that touchline.”

The talkSPORT Trophy takes place tomorrow, Friday 28th July.
