Alex Hall presents her final show for BBC Radio Tees

BBC Radio Tees presenter Alex Hall has hosted her final regular show on the station.

In a post on X, she wrote: “This morning I did my last show on BBC local radio.

“My regular programme ended in November, but I was asked to do some cover, which I was happy to do.  Delaying the inevitable. Today I have to concede defeat. 35 years in local and regional radio and it’s over. Wow.”

Alex presented various shows on BBC Radio Tees since joining in 2006. These included mid-morning, a phone-in, a late show and a weekly show on Sunday Songs From The Shows until November.  She previously hosted programmes on BBC Radio York and Leeds including The Alex Hall Late Show on the BBC Night Network.

Before working at the BBC, she started out on TFM then hosted shows on other stations including Magic 828 and Bradford’s The Pulse.
