New radio stream sounds a bit funny

Laughs now have a dedicated UK radio station streaming around the clock.
Comedy UK has launched online, on app, smart speakers and YouTube, combining live stand-up, archive clips and new comedy voices in a 24/7 service for listeners.
The station will also stream live comedy gigs each week, bringing performances from the UK circuit directly to audiences away from the venue.
Its interactive feature, Whose Laugh Is It Anyway?, asks listeners to identify celebrities from their laugh alone.
The station’s first Comedy UK Radio Roadshow takes place at Leicester Square Theatre in London on 18 June 2026 and will be broadcast live. The line-up includes Jessica Fostekew, Thanyia Moore, Alex Kealy, Ria Lina and Roman Harris.
Comedy UK is a partnership between NextUp, Bridgemore Productions and Positive Digital Media, funded through advertising and subscription options.
John Dash, Director, Comedy UK Media Ltd, said: “This is something completely new for UK audiences – a dedicated comedy station available 24/7.”
He added that the team is “building a platform that celebrates comedy in every form”.
