Chris Tarrant visits former colleague and Caravan Radio CEO at live OB

Caravan Radio had a surprise visitor last weekend, when the station was doing an OB from the Southern Motorhome and Campervan Show in Newbury.

The station was at the three-day event when Chris Tarrant popped by to say hello to his former radio colleague and friend Mike Osborne, who is the founder of Caravan Radio. Mike worked for many years with Chris on his Capital Radio Breakfast Show.

It was an opportunity for Chris and Mike to catch up and have a beer in the sunshine and share some memories of their time at Capital Radio.

Mike Osborne said: “It was so good to meet up with Chris at an outside broadcast of my own after travelling the world setting up OBs around the world during our time together on the Capital Breakfast Show.

“We do like to meet up when we can and after working together for so many years there is always so much to catch up on.”
