Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place joins Audio Always

Audio Always is taking over production of Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast as the show joins its Audio Always Originals network.
The Manchester production company will manage every stage of production through a new central team, with editorial staff working alongside its marketing, social and commercial departments.
Recording will continue at Fearne’s studio in central London, while Audio Always will also take responsibility for commercial opportunities alongside podcast platform Acast and entertainment agency YMU.
Happy Place launched in 2018 and has now produced more than 480 episodes exploring mental health, wellbeing and happiness. Recent guests have included Joe Lycett, Dawn French, Kate Winslet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Dua Lipa and Jon Bon Jovi.
Paul Fernley, Business Development Director at Audio Always, said: “We’re so pleased to have Fearne and Happy Place with us, the fourth show to come to Audio Always from YMU in 18 months.”
The other three podcasts are The Jack & Ash Show, The Teen Commandments and The Girls Bathroom.
Sarah White, Talent Director, Global Entertainment at YMU, welcomed the latest agreement, which continues the agency’s existing relationship with Audio Always.
YMU has worked with Fearne to develop Happy Place beyond the podcast, including festivals, publishing, licensing partnerships and brand sponsorships.
Fearne said: “The Happy Place team and I are thrilled to be working with the team at Audio Always, as we begin this next phase of growth for the podcast.”
She added that the team has further guests lined up and intends to continue exploring conversations around mental health and wellbeing.
Happy Place remains available across podcast platforms, with new episodes published every Monday and Thursday.
