The 1975, WILLOW, Aitch and Wet Leg among artists for Radio 1’s Live Lounge Month
BBC Radio 1‘s Live Lounge Month is returning for September, with The 1975, WILLOW, Aitch and Wet Leg among those set to perform, with two more big names to be announced in the coming weeks.
Starting Monday 5 September and through the month every Monday to Thursday with Rickie and Melvin at 12pm, the acts will be in the Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform a mix of their own songs and surprise covers.
The line-up is:
- Monday 5 September – YUNGBLUD
- Tuesday 6 September – Self Esteem
- Wednesday 7 September – RAYE
- Thursday 8 September – Wet Leg
- Monday 12 September – Very special guest
- Tuesday 13 September – Knucks
- Wednesday 14 September – Nova Twins
- Thursday 15 September – Very special guest
- Monday 19 September – Harry Styles with an unseen track from his Live Lounge performance earlier this year.
- Tuesday 20 September – Rina Sawayama
- Wednesday 21 September – Tom Grennan
- Thursday 22 September – Aitch
- Monday 26 September – WILLOW
- Tuesday 27 September – beabadoobee
- Wednesday 28 September – Steve Lacy
- Thursday 29 September – The 1975
Rickie and Melvin say: “We’re so excited that Live Lounge Month is back for another year– it’s going to be BIG! We’ll be bringing our listeners their favourite artists whether they are returning to the Live Lounge or making their debut performance, it’s set to be another epic month.”

All performances from Live Lounge Month can be heard live on Radio 1 and BBC Sounds and will be available to watch on demand on Radio 1’s BBC iPlayer and YouTube channels.
