Police charge Tim Westwood with more offences

Tim Westwood has been charged with two additional sexual offences, according to London’s Metropolitan Police.

Westwood is accused of indecently assaulting a teenage girl in 1991 and sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman in 2004.

The 68-year-old had previously pleaded not guilty to 15 sexual offences, including four counts of rape, which are alleged to have taken place between 1983 and 2016.

Police confirmed the new charges on Tuesday, adding to the ongoing legal proceedings against Tim.

Westwood has denied all previous allegations and continues to contest the charges in court. A court hearing is expected to address these latest developments as part of the broader case.
