The Traitors star Leon Jackman joins Derby ONE

Derby ONE has introduced a weekly Celebrity Traitors feature with former contestant Leon Jackman joining Kirsty Corbett on Sunday afternoons.

Leon, who appeared in the third series of BBC reality show The Traitors, will offer his insight into the celebrity edition of the programme, discussing the latest banishments, contestants’ strategies and events from the Scottish Highlands castle.

The feature airs during Kirsty’s Sunday afternoon show, which broadcasts from 12pm to 4pm, with the pair reviewing the week’s developments and making predictions about which celebrity contestants could be Faithfuls or Traitors.

Having experienced the programme himself, Leon will bring his perspective on the psychological gameplay and pressures faced by those taking part.

Dan Martin, Programme Director at Derby ONE, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have Leon on board with Kirsty.

“His firsthand experience of the castle’s pressures makes him the perfect person to break down the celebrity gameplay for our listeners across the city.”

Kirsty said: “I am absolutely buzzing to have Leon join me on the show.”

She added that discussing the programme with somebody who has experienced the castle would bring a different perspective to the weekly reviews, as they attempt to work out which contestants are playing which roles.
