ReelWorld Radio Academy 30 under 30 list revealed for 2024
The ReelWorld Radio Academy 30 under 30 list has been announced in full for 2024.
Each year the list features the 30 people under the age of 30 who have shown exceptional tenacity, talent and a proven trajectory in radio and audio, according to the Radio Academy.
It includes content creators, news editors, presenters, producers, production managers and more, from independent freelancers to those who work at major broadcast and podcast platforms.
Stars who have featured on the list in previous years at an early stage in their career and gone on to global success include TV presenter Ben Sheppard, Head BBC Asian Network Ahmed Hussain and presenter Emma-Louise Amanshia, who this year presented at the Radio Academy Festival.
Aradhna Tayal Leach, Managing Director, The Radio Academy said: “I am delighted to announce The ReelWorld Radio Academy 30 Under 30 list, one of the most prestigious and competitive accolades in our sector.
“Since its launch in 2011, being included in the ReelWorld Radio Academy 30 Under 30 list has become established as one of the great honours of a young audio professional’s career, with many of our alumni going on to senior leadership roles in the industry.

Congratulations to all thirty on this significant achievement and I hope your accolade inspires you to continue in your professional development in our great industry.”
Chairing the 30 Under 30 Judging Committee, Jimmy Buckland, Director of Strategy at News Broadcasting, said: “As a member of the first 30 Under 30 class in 2011, it’s a special honour to now help lead the judging committee. It has been incredibly inspiring to read through the brilliant and varied applications we received this year.
“The thirty young people who have made the 2024 list exemplify the very best of our industry. Their talent and achievements demonstrate that the future of audio is in safe hands.”
