Radio X brings Oasis artwork to life with animated campaign

Radio X has launched a new animated project to celebrate the return of Oasis, transforming some of the band’s most famous album covers into moving visuals.
Created in collaboration with Oasis’s management and animation studio Dog and Rabbit, the animated artwork forms part of the wider campaign for the new digital station, Radio X Oasis.
The station, launched earlier this year, plays only music by Oasis and artists connected to the band’s legacy.
The new animation reimagines key elements from Oasis’s artwork – including the white Rolls-Royce from Be Here Now, the red scooter from Definitely Maybe, and the globe featured in Don’t Look Back in Anger. These are all brought to life alongside a soundtrack of iconic tracks.
The short film first appeared on social media at the same time as the station launched. A longer version has now been released in the build-up to the band’s first reunion gig, helping to build momentum across fan communities.
Fans can view the campaign across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube and the Global Player app. It will also appear on digital screens inside Oasis Live ’25 Fan Stores, which are opening at retail locations across the UK in the run-up to the shows.
The visuals will form part of the in-store experience for fans visiting the pop-up sites, designed to celebrate the music and imagery of the band’s past.
Radio X’s creative and marketing team worked closely with Dog and Rabbit, whose previous work includes animations for artists and major media brands.
