Andrew Neil launches weekly News UK show

Times Radio presenter Andrew Neil is launching a standalone weekly show from News UK.

The Andrew Neil Report will be released every Thursday on podcast platforms and YouTube, adding another politics and current affairs format to News UK’s growing audio and video output.

The new programme will feature Andrew’s analysis of major domestic and global stories, alongside guests discussing the issues shaping the week.

News UK says the show has been created for both viewing and listening, with episodes available as video on YouTube and as audio through podcast platforms.

Andrew, a contributor to Times Radio, is a former Editor of The Sunday Times and former Chairman of Sky TV. The company says the new show marks a further step in its move into creator led editorial programming.

Every week, Andrew will be joined by commentators to discuss global and UK events, with the programme aiming to place fast moving political stories into wider context.

Andrew said: “From Westminster to Washington, the political world has never been more complex or more in need of proper scrutiny.”

Scott Taunton, EVP, President of News Broadcasting, said The Andrew Neil Report reflects the company’s commitment to investing in programming that gives audiences “the deep-dive analysis they are looking for”.

New episodes of The Andrew Neil Report will be available every Thursday.
