Danaps VoiceCast brings radio imaging workflow to a plugin

Radio producers can now use Daniel Zolyomi’s voice processing workflow through Danaps VoiceCast, a plugin for spoken audio.

The Hungarian radio imaging producer and Danaps Imaging founder developed VoiceCast from the process he uses in his own production work. It is designed to take a raw voice recording through processing without requiring users to build a new chain for each project.

VoiceCast has Studio and Broadcast modes, presets developed for different microphones and dedicated Danaps Imaging presets for radio imaging. Its processing controls sit in a single interface, where users can adjust settings for different voices and recordings.

Daniel said: “VoiceCast grew out of that workflow, with the aim of making it faster to go from a raw recording to a finished broadcast sound.”

The plugin was developed using a range of voices and recordings, including material for radio imaging, voiceovers and podcasts. It is also intended for other producers of spoken audio who want a consistent way to process their recordings.

Danaps VoiceCast is available for macOS and Windows as a VST3 plugin. It also supports AU on macOS and is available as a standalone application. More information is available at website.
