Radioplayer launches new apps and announces Google deal

Radioplayer has announced some updates to its service including a new deal with Google for voice-activated devices.

The two companies will work together to allow Radioplayer client stations to be available easier on Home Assistant.

A refreshed app will also be made available, and an app that works on Apple’ new Vision Pro product.

The announcements were made at Radiodays Europe, where Yann Legarson, CEO of Radioplayer, emphasised the collective strength and innovative spirit of the radio industry: “This partnership with Google represents a powerful testament to the unified voice of radio.
