Jordan & Perri get Saturday Breakfast on KISS

Bauer has revealed a number of changes to the weekend schedules on KISS, KISSTORY and KISS Fresh.

On KISS, Diversity stars Jordan & Perri will front a brand new Saturday breakfast show from 9am, as they move from Sunday evening.

A presenter known only as Alex will now present Jordan & Perri’s former Sunday evening 7pm till 1pm slot.

Weekday drive presenter Tyler joins the weekend line-up with a brand new chart show, The KISS Hot 40, every Sunday from 5pm.

Majestic moves to Friday nights from 7pm, with DJ Joel Corry replacing Majestic at 10pm every Thursday night.

And Sam Darlaston, Monday to Wednesday Late Show presenter, will be hosting a new Sunday show from 2pm till 5pm.

KISS Fresh DJs TCTS, SKT and Ben Malone all take on new KISS FM shows, while Steve Smart moves from Saturday Night KISS to KISSTORY every Friday and Saturday from 7pm.

Other new additions to the KISS FM schedule include Solardo, Leftwing & Kody, Low Steppa and MK.

Making sense of all the changes, KISS Interim Content Director Nathan Thomson told RadioToday: “This couldn’t be a more exciting time for KISS as we further define our output across KISS, KISSTORY and KISS Fresh to offer a truly competitive music set within the industry.

“With the recent additions of our new digital stations KISS Garage, KISS Dance and KISS Jams – KISS continues to maintain its position as the beat of the UK.”

Interim Deputy Content Director for KISS David Farrar added: “We’re super excited to get the new weekend line-ups live just in time for KISSMAS. Our world-class talent is now perfectly placed to offer a truly cross-platform radio offering for our highly engaged audiences. With the addition of these brand new shows, plus the return of some of the key KISS specialist shows – the weekend really does live on KISS.”

The new schedules will come into effect from Thursday 5th December 2019 in line with the launch of the station’s annual KISSMAS competition giving listeners the chance to win their share of £150,000 and gifts from KISS’ social platforms.
